St. Francis Episcopal Church

Bringing Christ to Denham Springs and beyond

In corporate worship, we united ourselves with others

to acknowledge the holiness of God,

to hear God's Word,

to offer prayer,

and to celebrate the sacraments

           Almighty God,

to you all hearts are open,

all desires known,

and from you no secrets are hid:

Cleanse the thoughts of our hearts

by the inspiration of your

Holy Spirit, that we may perfectly

love you, and worthily magnify

your Holy Name;

through Christ our Lord.

 The Word of God

Blessed be God:

Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

And blessed be his kingdom,

now and for ever.

The Lord's Prayer

OUR Father, who art in heaven,

    hallowed be thy name.

    thy Kingdom come,

    thy will be done,

on earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses,

    as we forgive those

        who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation,

    but deliver us from evil.

For thine is the kingdom,

and the power, and the glory,

    for ever and ever.  Amen

The sacraments are outward

and visible signs of

inward and spiritual grace,

given by Christ

as sure and certain means.
